We are now looking for a Director to join our Technology Strategy & Transformation offering to develop and grow our Technology Strategy & Transformation business within the private sector. 

Your role

As a Director, you will be in a key role in expanding Deloitte’s technology advisory business within the private sector, particularly across Energy, Resources & Industrials (ERI), and other asset-intensive industries.

This is not a traditional sales role. Rather, it is a market-facing leadership position for an experienced technology advisor who can build trusted executive relationships, identify business opportunities, shape transformation agendas, and position Deloitte as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine deep advisory expertise with a strong commercial mindset, helping clients navigate increasingly complex technology, regulatory, geopolitical, and AI-driven challenges.

As a Director, you will work closely with senior executives including CIOs, CTOs, technology leaders, and business decision-makers to define technology strategies, develop transformation roadmaps, and create measurable business value. You will also collaborate extensively across Deloitte’s consulting, advisory, and industry teams to bring the firm’s full capabilities to clients and deliver impactful outcomes.

To succeed in the role, you have

• 10+ years of professional experience in technology strategy, technology transformation, or technology advisory consulting, with proven success in client-facing roles and business development.

• a proven track record of winning and growing advisory engagements, building sustainable client pipelines and translating market opportunities into revenue growth.

• the ability to connect technology decisions with broader business objectives and commercial outcomes.

• experience advising organisations on complex transformation programmes and strategic technology decisions.

• the ability to discuss the strategic implications of AI and emerging technologies with executive stakeholders.

• experience within private-sector organisations, ideally in Energy, Resources & Industrials (ERI), infrastructure, consumer goods, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries.

• the ability to demonstrate the executive presence to influence C-level stakeholders, challenge thinking constructively and shape strategic technology decisions.

• the ability to collaborate across service lines and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the long-term growth and leadership of the practice.

• a track record of building and leading high-performing consulting teams.

• a master’s degree in a relevant field (for example in business, engineering, information technology, or related discipline).

• fluent language skills in English and Finnish.
