We are looking for students who are finalizing their studies or who have already graduated to join our Finance Transformation team as Finance AI focused Trainees in Helsinki.

We are looking for trainees who have a basic technical background from casework or projects in IT, computer science, data analytics or finance technology, have experience in AI solution implementation through study assignments or internships and have a passion and curiosity in AI and automation. We would like you to start your 4-month Trainee period in January 2027. Many Trainees continue with us into permanent roles after their Trainee period.

As an AI Finance Trainee you will be a valued part of the team in our varied client assignments where new AI technologies are implemented. You will be working as part of a team setting up AI solutions for our clients to automate and improve their finance processes and enhance business steering. Your tasks can include, for example, setting up AI solutions leveraging finance platform capabilities or more generic GenAI/LLM models and visualizing finance data.  In your role you get to know the agile ways of working, attend relevant trainings, and verify your learnings with certificates. We can promise your learning curve at Deloitte to be steep but also getting active support from your own buddy, people leader and the Finance Transformation and other Deloitte teams.

What do we hope from you?

Do you have the passion for implementing and developing AI solutions in Finance domain with a relaxed and motivated team? Would you like to work and deepen your knowledge on AI technologies? Then you’d probably fit well in our team! 

To succeed in this role, we wish you have:  

• A recent master’s/bachelor’s degree or ongoing master studies (for example in information technology, computer science, accounting)
• Willingness and possibly familiarity configuring or developing Finance AI technologies (in common finance platforms like ERPs, Anaplan, OneStream, or in other solutions leveraging GenAI/LLM models)  
• Fluent language skills in English and Finnish
• Enthusiasm to work with others, both with colleagues and clients  

In addition, the following will be considered a strong advantage: 

• Knowledge of common software development practices, databases, data platforms, data warehousing and ETL / data pipelines  
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C# etc. 
• Studies in the fields of Accounting, Technology, AI
