We are now looking for highly skilled Solution Architect with strong experience in SAP Cloud ERP (S/4 Hana Public Cloud) to lead end-to-end solution design, integration planning and implementation governance in our rapidly growing local SAP Consulting Team. Position is located in our Helsinki office, but some travel is also expected based on our Nordic operating model.

This role is instrumental in defining the architecture and guiding the technical direction of the SAP landscape in close collaboration with system integrators, business process owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and our clients internal teams.  We provide business value to our clients through designing new ways of working, defining enhanced operating models, implementation of new capabilities, harmonizing processes or consolidating technology solutions. Your expertise would be leveraged for helping clients optimize their finance processes through Finance Transformation and create value driven business cases around SAP Cloud ERP capabilities.

The common goal for us and the client is to acquire a good understanding of business processes and be able to offer the best solution options to meet the business needs. Your key role in this is enabling and supporting our SAP Finance team to efficiently define the solutions, explain business benefits and use cases with a realistic roadmap to meet the goals. You would be expected to translate business requirements into scalable and compliant system designs using SAP S/4 Hana Cloud solutions. The main responsibilities and possibilities in this role consist of:

• Leading solution architecture and blueprinting for SAP Public Cloud implementation projects, as well as planning the finance part in our SAP related projects and defining viable commercial structure for them
• Driving fit-to-standard workshops and discussions, identifying gaps, and proposing extensibility options using BTP and in-app capabilities 
• Acting as the owner of the solution for your process area, governing scope, solution agility and the co-ordination of the solution completeness across work stream. This means creating innovative process and solution designs with concrete work estimates utilizing our global service offerings
• Supporting our clients through the full lifecycle of an SAP S/4 HANA implementation - from discovery to post-go-live support while providing technical leadership to functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders
• Actively participating in pre-sales and proposal activities with architecture and effort estimations

Why You

We are looking for an SAP Cloud professional who has an appetite for delivering sustainable, business-driven projects and being excited to co-operate with the largest companies and well-known brands. You enjoy engaging with clients to understand their requirements and find solution options for key challenges in finance area providing subject matter expertise with a good awareness of SAP and associated technologies within the process area.

Your most important attributes we’d like to see are:

• Practical experience in SAP Cloud ERP (Public Edition) implementations
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP architecture, cloud deployment models, and integration frameworks to ensure performance, scalability, extensibility and compliance aligned with business objectives. This requires good understanding of SAP cloud architecture, extensibility, and integration technologies
• Thorough expertise in architecture and implementation around finance related SAP S/4HANA areas/competences such as Central Finance, FI/CO, Margin & Profitability Analysis, Project accounting with PS, Product Costing, Master Data modelling, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or other
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA product and cloud roadmaps (experience of other related SAP solutions such as e.g. Group Reporting, SAC is advantageous but not required) and knowledge of relevant delivery methods for SAP (waterfall, hybrid agile, agile) preferably with deployment experience e.g. global template rollouts

Additionally, to ensure smooth start and succeeding in the role, it is required from the applicant to:

• Hold a master’s degree or similar relevant educational background with 6-10 years of relevant SAP experience - preferably across multiple industries.
• Have implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud/Public/Private, On-Premise, SAP BTP with broad SAP functional and technical expertise in your own process area which supports your understanding of integrations between SAP modules and other applications
• Have previous consulting and sales/pre-sales experience working with multiple large clients both with business and IT stakeholders
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to conceptualize and communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner (Proficiency in Finnish language seen as advantage but not required)
• We highly appreciate SAP S/4Hana Cloud Public Edition – Finance and Accounting Certificate, or the ambition to complete it
• Be currently located in Finland and possess a valid residence permit. For this role we do not offer relocation
