We are looking for students who are finalising their studies or who have already graduated to join our AI & Data Team as a Cloud Data Platform & AI Engineering Trainee in Helsinki.

We would like you to start your 4-month Trainee period in January 2026. Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue with us also after the Trainee period or after graduating.

As a Cloud Data Platform & AI Engineering Trainee you will be a valued part of the team in our varied client assignments where data is utilized in decision making. Your tasks can include, for example, setting up cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data platforms, development of data processing pipelines, solutions leveraging GenAI/LLM models, coding algorithms, and visualizing the data. In your role you get to know the agile ways of working, attend relevant training, and verify your learnings with certificates. We can promise your learning curve at Deloitte to be steep but also getting active support from your own buddy, coach and the whole AI & Data team.

What do we hope from you?

Do you have the passion for developing data-driven solutions with a relaxed and motivated team? Would you like to work and deepen your knowledge on cloud data platforms, data engineering, data modeling, programming, data analyzing and visualizing? Then you’d probably fit well in our team! 

To succeed in this role, we wish you have:  

• A recent master’s/bachelor’s degree or ongoing relevant master studies (for example in information technology, computer science, etc.)  

• Willingness and possibly familiarity working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)  

• Experience in SQL  

• Fluent language skills in English (fluency in Finnish language is seen as plus)  

• Enthusiasm to work with others, both with colleagues and clients  

In addition, the following would be considered a strong advantage: 

• Knowledge about common software development practices, cloud infrastructure provisioning, databases, data platforms, data warehousing and ETL / data pipelines  

• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, C# etc. 

We also appreciate your willingness to work with DevOps technologies and principles as well as interest or experience in modern API-integrations, full stack development, intelligent automation or containers. We are hoping to see your eagerness to truly develop data-driven solutions for our clients together with our team!  

To be considered for this Trainee position, a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland, holding a valid residence permit if required.
