Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer & Commercial Strategy Senior Manager for a permanent role at our Helsinki office. You will work in the following areas: 

  • Growth Strategy: Define future markets and revenue streams. 
  • Customer Strategy: Identify target customer segments, product mix, and channels. 
  • Commercial Excellence: Ensure profitable market entry and new business value. 
  • Digital Strategy & Products: Explore technological opportunities and develop future digital products. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis. 
  • Define strategies to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, and satisfaction. 
  • Align customer strategy with business objectives. 
  • Plan and execute strategies, establish, measure, and follow up on KPI frameworks. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Offering Development: Lead the development of customer & commercial strategy offerings, methodologies, and points of view. 
  • Business Development: Build client relationships, lead sales teams, and respond to bids and proposals. 
  • Project Delivery: Manage and deliver impactful client projects. 
  • People Development: Coach and support junior colleagues.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (e.g., top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy). 
  • Proficiency in strategy work and operating model development with executive-level decision-makers. 
  • Preferred experience in industrial sectors (energy, resources, manufacturing). 
  • Experience in offering and go-to-market development and sales. 
  • Understanding of design thinking and human-centric approaches in business development. 
  • Strong networking skills and personal impact. 
  • Results-oriented, proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset. 
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Economics, STEM) with excellent academic performance. 
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English; Swedish, Norwegian and/or Danish proficiency is a plus.
