Are you interested to work as integral part of the team that is ranked as the leading Corporate Finance adviser both in the Nordics and globally?  We are looking for students who are finalising their studies or who have already graduated to join our Corporate Finance team as a Trainee in Helsinki.

The Trainee period is five to six months, and we would like you to start in January 2024 (flexible dates based on your preferences). Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue with us also after the Trainee period or after graduating.

As a Trainee your role will be to support our experienced professionals in all stages of M&A transactions from pitching to deal execution in an international environment. You will also prepare state-of-the-art sales materials, presentations, financial models, valuations, and other deliverables to clients.

The Trainee period will offer you a unique opportunity to work with Finnish and global corporations, private companies as well as financial investors. We promise an active role in challenging and complex M&A and valuation projects as well as in client interaction from early on. What do we hope from you?

If you got excited reading the job description and you enjoy problem solving and challenging yourself, you have high motivation to perform and a true team-player attitude, you might just be the Corporate Finance Trainee that we are looking for.

In addition, we also wish that you have:

• An excellent academic record with a relevant master’s degree e.g., in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering (close to graduation or graduated)
• Analytical and result-oriented mindset with a keen interest in M&A
• Good communication skills and excellent command of English. Command of Finnish is considered as an advantage
• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Previous work experience from investment banking, private equity or management consulting is considered as an advantage.
