Job Description

  • you will be responsible for specific objectives within project teams. As you gain experience and grow, your responsibilities will increase;
  • you support the delivery of project objectives such as;
    • 1) Organizational assessments, advising on optimal organizational structure;
    • 2) Build competencies that enable large skill transformations, provide support in designing and implementing tailored learning ecosystems that place the learner at the center, drive organizational performance by expanding and unlocking workforce capability;
    • 3) Coach an agile product team, support an agile transformation, design agile playbook and one-pagers, and implement the PI planning;
  • you prepare client materials for workshops and client sessions and taking responsibility for the quality of work;
  • you support project management activities and industry and/or market proposals;
  • you organize internal meetings and projects.

The Future Organization Team has a broad focus on organizational development. There are different areas of expertise:  Operating models, Organization Design, Workforce Transition, Agile Portfolio Management and Agile Ways of Working, Strategic Workforce Planning & Workforce Analytics and Workforce Strategies & Solutions. As a Junior Consultant, you are encouraged to learn about all the different areas. You are, however, not expected to be an expert in all the different areas.

With your personal strengths, view of the world and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Consultant Future Organization:

  • Completed a relevant Master’s degree (such as, but not limited to: Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Sciences)
  • In addition to your studies, you have participated in extracurricular activities such as student associations, board years, international experiences, sports associations, committees, etc.
  • You have an analytical, goal-driven, and practical mentality as well as excellent command of English language, both orally and in writing.
  • You have affinity with one of the topics, while showing interest in the others: Operating models, Organization Design, Workforce Transition, Agile Portfolio Management and Agile Ways of Working, Strategic Workforce Planning & Workforce Analytics and Workforce Strategies & Solutions

With a broad focus on organizational development, we work directly at board level with exciting clients across various sectors, helping them navigate complex landscapes and transform their organizations and people to meet evolving demands.

Your role can vary from assignment to assignment. To give you some examples of projects within Future Organization:  1) Supporting a (SAFe) Agile transformation for a global retailer by implementing new ways of working and tools, establishing strategic alignment processes, and providing Agile coaching from team to board level. 2) Supporting the board of a leading Dutch shipbuilding company in redesigning their operating model to enable better collaboration between business units 3) Designing the new top structure of a large governmental organization to ensure future-fit, 4) Support a global bank future-proof its workforce through skill-based design and strategic planning, with a strong focus on AI and sustainability capabilities.


All in all, you ensure that our clients are set up for success in achieving business outcomes by developing organizations and its people. You understand the challenges of individuals and organizations and together with a project team, you will offer innovative approaches and organizational development solutions.

 

Besides finding a home in the Future Organization Team, as a Junior Consultant, you will participate in the ‘BASE program’ where you rotate in various projects among other Organization & Workforce Transformation (O&WT) department teams. This will help you gain a broader understanding of various business functions and enhance your versatility. To further advance your skills, you will engage in various O&WT-specific trainings.
