You are a Financial Controller with the ambition to grow further within Finance/Business control. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate financial results and work extensively with stakeholders. At Deloitte.

• prepare cross-business (ad hoc) reports with high-quality analyses and advice;
• serve as an intermediary between Global Finance Service (GFS) and Business Control with the goal of having reports and analyses executed as much as possible by GFS;
• support planning and forecasting processes;
• monitor corporate finances (cost accounting/controlling) to ensure smooth control;
• advise and act as a business partner to management and key stakeholders, in the absence of Business Controllers, regarding financial processes;
• participate in, or lead (financial) projects aimed at process improvements.

• a completed university or bachelor's degree in Finance (Business Economics/Accountancy)
• 3 - 8 years of relevant work experience in a management accounting or (business) controller role;
• excellent command of the English language;
• knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Note: Candidates have to be residing in The Netherlands, since we don't offer relocation for this position.

As an (assistant) financial controller, you ensure that the financial results are accurate so that the analyses and advice prepared internally and/or in collaboration with the business controller and Global Financial Service (GFS) contribute to insights for management to improve performance. As Finance, we act as a full-fledged business partner for our (internal) business. You will do this from our offices in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Utrecht, and also from home.
