You’ll ensure every Change Collaborative event lands with precision, care, and a sense of occasion, while also supporting a broader portfolio of high‑profile leadership engagements that deepen Deloitte’s relationships with New Zealand’s corporate leaders. Job Description
The impact you’ll make:
Reporting to our Client Experience Lead, you will lead the strategic planning and flawless execution of Deloitte’s Change Collaborative events based in Queenstown. You will also contribute to other high‑profile programmes and events in Auckland, including executive workshops and leadership forums offering unique exposure to senior business leaders and the opportunity to utilise a wide set of Deloitte tools.
Your typical day will include:
Participant Recruitment & Pipeline Development
- Designing and delivering a targeted marketing programme to attract and recruit participants into leadership programmes, building a sustainable and diverse pipeline of future candidates.
- Developing and executing recruitment campaigns across relevant channels in collaboration with marketing and stakeholder teams.
- Managing end-to-end participant recruitment activity, from lead generation through to conversation and enrolment.
- Tracking recruitment performance and pipeline health, using insights to refine outreach strategies and improve outcomes.
Participant Engagement
- Managing registration processes, including onboarding communications and participant data tracking.
- Coordinating pre-event and in-event communications to ensure clarity, engagement, and responsiveness.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for participant queries, providing timely and professional support.
- Supporting participant experience through personalised touchpoints and feedback loops.
Website & Digital Updates
- Ensuring programme information is accurate and up to date across internal and external digital platforms.
- Collaborating with internal IT and communications teams to implement timely updates and enhancements.
- Supporting integration of registration systems and digital assets into the online experience.
Venue & Accommodation Sourcing
- Identifying and secure suitable venues that align with programme objectives, audience needs, and budget.
- Negotiating contracts and manage relationships with venue and accommodation providers.
- Coordinating transport logistics and special requirements for participants and facilitators.
- Ensuring accessibility, comfort, and quality standards are met across all locations.
Event Management & Execution
- Leading end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements and hospitality services.
- Maintaining detailed run sheets, contingency plans, and operational documentation to support smooth execution.
- Providing on site event support as required liaising with venue event teams and local restaurants.
- Measure event success using participant feedback.
Conference Supplies & Materials
- Maintaining inventory of conference supplies, branded materials, and programme resources.
- Coordinating the preparation of facilitator tools and printed collateral.
- Ensuring timely procurement and replenishment of materials to support seamless programme delivery.
- Briefing vendors and manage purchasing of branded assets and merchandise.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivating strong relationships with speakers, facilitators, and alumni to support ongoing networks.
- Managing speaker engagement, and support with travel and logistics management.
Budget & Financial Management
- Developing and manage event budgets with a focus on value and sustainability.
- Delivering post-event financial reporting and ROI analysis to inform future planning.
- Working with internal accounts teams to manage invoicing and vendor payments.
Qualifications
Your expertise:
Bring your strong project management and communication skills and at least 3+ years’ experience in a corporate environment to help us deliver unforgettable leadership experiences that make an impact.
You'll also be:
- Confident coordinating logistics such as venues, travel, catering, and AV support.
- Comfortable managing participant registrations, communications, and responding to queries.
- Able to maintain supplies, materials, and digital updates with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with internal teams, suppliers, and facilitators to support smooth event delivery.
- Curious to learn
You’ll have:
- Relevant experience in business support, communications, marketing, or event coordination.
- Strong organisational, communication and budgeting skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and basic CRM systems.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a leadership programme and events environment.
