Job Description
The impact you'll make:
As an intermediate/senior in our Business Advisory team you will provide advice to clients on a range of accounting and tax issues.
While a typical day is difficult to articulate, below are some key aspects of the role:
- Providing advice to clients on a range of business and tax issues, including in the context of transaction work, business operations and strategy, and domestic and international tax.
- Building relationships with key client contacts.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns, as well as assisting clients in managing their tax obligations throughout the year.
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, budgets and various other metrics required by clients to monitor their business.
- Adopting different methods to collect and analyse data from various sources with the purpose of deriving insights for our clients.
- Assisting our clients to operate and improve their internal finance functions.
- Supporting the team by drafting and preparing a range of client deliverables under the guidance of the leadership team.
- Being part of the team culture, becoming a role model for our people and clients, as well as recognising others for the impact they make by their valued contributions.
Qualifications
Your expertise:
Bring your passion for supporting local and international businesses to thrive and see what impact you can make. You'll also have:
- 2+ years accounting and / or tax experience
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting (or similar)
- Completed or working towards your CA/CPA or equivalent
- Previous experience with Xero
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Drive and be highly committed
- A sharp and analytical mind
- The ability to be a team player that values input and support from team members, but can also work autonomously.
