Our SAP team are looking for a Senior Consultant / Manager – Digital Procurement / Source-to-Pay Specialist (SAP Ariba & Coupa) to join our Wellington team (preferred) or Auckland team. 

We are looking for a Digital Procurement / Source-to-Pay Specialist with exceptional skills. Deloitte’s award-winning Consulting practice spans a wide range of services which has positioned us as a market leader around the world.  In this role, you will be accountable for designing, configuring and deploying digital procurement solutions such as SAP Ariba and Coupa while supporting our broader SAP and Procurement Practices. Collaborating closely with internal Deloitte teams and client stakeholders, you will gather requirements, design and implement procurement solutions, seamlessly integrated with ERPs and other client technology systems (both SAP and non-SAP). This position demands profound functional proficiency, robust problem-solving capabilities, a strong desire to learn, and the knack for delivering top-tier solutions for our clients. 

Job Description

SAP Digital Procurement / Source-to-Pay Specialist (Ariba & Coupa) Senior Consultant / Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SAP Ariba (and other digital procurement solution) implementation projects.
  • Lead requirements capture and solution design activities with client stakeholders, advising clients on sourcing and procurement leading practices throughout.
  • Perform system configuration and setup activities, converting the solution design into a built and tested system.
  • Manage and facilitate system testing, deployment, post-implementation support and project closeout activities.
  • Ensure project milestones are met within agreed upon timelines and budget.
  • Develop and support comprehensive project plans and monitor progress continuously.
  • Address potential risks and issues, offering effective resolutions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned with business requirements and Deloitte / client standards.
  • Report and communicate project successes, risks, and status to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, technology) within client organisations across multiple levels, including business analysts, technical leads, and end-users.
  • Manage the project work plan and holds the team and project resources accountable to variances in budget and hours.
  • Leverage your knowledge of Source-to-Pay technologies to support solution estimation, SoW creation, letters of agreement, and cost structure by level. 

Qualifications

What we're Seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and/or managing SAP Ariba (or other digital procurement solution) projects, including at least 2 full-cycle Source to Pay implementations. For example: Ariba, Coupa, Fieldglass, Icertis, Ivalua, Jaggaer, Zycus.
  • Deep functional knowledge in sourcing, procurement and finance / accounts payable business processes.
  • Strong experience managing complex SAP programmes, including integrated testing and QA activities.
  • Extensive project delivery experience and proven skill to ensure that project objectives and goals are met within agreed upon time, scope, resource, budget and quality requirements
  • SAP Ariba certifications are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP methodologies and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience directing the work of others and coordinating diverse cross-functional teams
