Job Description

Your typical day will include:

  • Client Engagement: Connect with clients to understand challenges and risks, offering thought leadership and best practices. Also, managing and executing these engagements. The role will see you advising clients on designing, implementing, or improving enterprise risk management systems, processes, and frameworks to enhance strategic alignment with business goals, enable effective decision making and response, and meet regulatory obligations.
  • Performance Improvement: Apply a risk lens to enhance performance and operating efficiency, providing expert advice tailored to the client's industry and objectives.
  • Change Leadership: Lead or support change programs related to governance, risk operating models, and business process improvement. Advise clients on how to manage risk across change and transformation.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a talented team to deliver engagements on time and within budget.
  • Client Relationships: Develop deep client relationships, identify opportunities, and support market proposals.

Qualifications

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone who demonstrates strong:

  • Experience: 3 plus years in risk consulting or advisory roles, ideally within a professional services or external consultancy environment.
  • Leadership: Passion for developing and mentoring diverse teams.
  • Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to convey complex ideas concisely and adjust communication style to the audience. The ability to influence clients and internal stakeholders is also an important part of the role.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of governance, risk and control frameworks, and most importantly organisational process redesign/ improvement and programme / project effectiveness.
  • Client Focus: Proven client relationship and business development experience.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary/relevant industry qualifications.
