Job Description
Job Summary
The Lead, Treasury will oversee and manage all financial operations related to treasury functions within a large network of healthcare facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient cash flow management, investment strategies, and financial risk mitigation to support the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services. The Lead, Treasury will work closely with the Assistant Director, Finance/Procurement to implement financial strategies that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. The role requires a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash management, liquidity planning, and investment activities to optimize financial resources across all facilities.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions, to support the organization’s financial objectives.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in treasury management, preferably within the healthcare, public sector, or large corporate organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MSc/MBA) or professional certification (e.g., ACT, CTP) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and investment strategies.
- Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
