Job Description
Job Summary
The Lead, HR Operations will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all human resource activities across a network of hospitals and healthcare centres. This includes managing the full employee lifecycle recruitment, onboarding, records administration, and performance management while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and organisational standards. The role will work closely with hospital leadership and department managers to implement HR strategies that support workforce planning, staff engagement, and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration across all HHMC facilities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HR information systems in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of performance management processes to support staff development and organisational goals.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, healthcare regulations, and HHMC policies, providing guidance to HR Officers and facility managers.
- Analyse HR data and prepare regular reports to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years’ experience in HR operations, preferably within healthcare or public sector organisations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree (MSc) is an advantage.
- Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR best practices, and healthcare workforce regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
