About the Division 

Deloitte's actuarial team provides a wide range of specialized actuarial and risk services to the insurance and reinsurance industry in several African countries. Deloitte has an integrated African practice committed to developing actuaries and transforming the profession. We have significant experience as statutory actuaries and as leading providers of SAM, audit and due diligence solutions across Africa.

With a new year comes the age-old question, “what do I want to be when I grow up?”

To help answer this question, we would like to invite top students from your school to a full day job shadowing event at Deloitte.

We are looking for a stand-out grade 11 or 12 student with a high proficiency in mathematics and an interest in exploring where a career in actuarial science can take them.

The selected student will be introduced to life in a corporate setting and will have the opportunity to interact with our team members and leaders about what it means to be an actuary and what career opportunities they can follow at Deloitte.

• Why do you want to study Actuarial Science?

• A short paragraph (no more than 50 words) on why you are currently considering a career in actuarial science.
