Job Description
Main Purpose of Job
We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team for a 5-month contract. In this role, you will focus exclusively on identifying and sourcing top talent within South Africa. You will be responsible for screening, conducting interviews, preparing resumes, and providing references for candidates. Your primary responsibility will be to source and vet candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in administrative tasks related to recruitment, including scheduling interviews and managing candidate databases.
- Utilize headhunting techniques to identify and engage with passive candidates, primarily through LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant sourcing tools.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
- Conduct screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to understand their specific hiring needs and preferences.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss candidate progress and strategize sourcing approaches.
- Ensure a smooth handover of qualified candidates to the Talent Acquisition team for further engagement.
- Prepare candidate profiles for the Talent Acquisition specialist.
- Conduct reference checks and gather feedback on candidates to present to the recruitment team.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
- Your key performance indicator (KPI) will be to deliver a minimum of 5 excellent candidates per day.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation on Applicant Tracking system.
- Track sourcing metrics and report on candidate submissions, interviews, and placements.
- Build and nurture a talent pipeline for long-term and hard-to-fill roles, maintaining ongoing relationships with potential candidates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and sourcing techniques.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the candidate sourcing process and overall recruitment strategy.

Qualifications
- Degree in relevant area ie. Human Resources, Industrial Relations etc
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years' experience within a Talent Acquisition Sourcing / Recruitment Administration function
Preferred
- A completed degree
- Experience gained within professional services or consulting.
