Risk Advisory maximise the performance of internal business operations by identifying, predicting, resolving and mitigating imminent threats and obstacles as well as enhancing the value of these operations. This is done through customised value propositions and solutions for organisations.
Job Description
Main Purpose of Job:
As an IT Audit Senior Consultant or IT Audit Supervisor, your role will be both to review work of Junior Consultants and delivery of client deliverables which is not limited to review of IT systems and controls. You will be required to stay up to date to provide cutting-edge consulting to our clients.
Key Performance Areas:
- Plan and Perform IT Audits, encompassing mainly the review of general IT controls and application controls;
- Review work of Junior Consultants;
- Be able to comprehend complex business process cycles quickly;
- Interact with client staff and management; obtaining their input and buy-in where necessary;
- Build and maintain relationships with clients;
- Provide insightful tips for remediation and thus providing value add; and
- Report findings at the appropriate levels of management.
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Completed degree (B.Com IT / Informatics, BSc IT / Computer Science or equivalent degree).
- Studying towards CISA qualification is a distinct advantage;
- 1 year accounting and/or auditing experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 2 years IT Audit experience in a professional services firm;
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint;
- In-depth knowledge of various IT infrastructure, applications and operating systems;
- Understand the relationship between the risk and the control;
- Develop and learn new areas of business processes;
- Able to work effectively as individual or in group;
- Report writing skills are critical; and
- Holder of a valid Drivers License.
