Job Description
On behalf of our client in the healthcare services sector, Deloitte is recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Talent Management Manager, to join the organization in Abuja, Nigeria. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic talent management initiatives that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Design and execute comprehensive talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Lead the development and implementation of performance management systems and processes
- Create and oversee leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify critical roles and develop succession plans
- Implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to meet the organization's current and future workforce needs
- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for talent management decisions
- Partner with department heads to assess skill gaps and create targeted development plans
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of HRIS software for talent management processes
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in talent management or related HR roles
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful talent management strategies
- Strong knowledge of performance management systems and leadership development programs
- Experience with succession planning and strategic workforce planning
- Proficiency in HR analytics and reporting
- Hands-on experience with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Understanding of Nigerian labor laws and regulations
- Knowledge of best practices in talent management and HR
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
