Job Description
On behalf of our client in the healthcare services sector, Deloitte is recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting & Treasury Manager to join the organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the organization's financial reporting processes and treasury operations, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while optimizing financial performance.
- Lead and manage the financial reporting and treasury functions of the hospital
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies and policies
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Manage cash flow, investments, and liquidity to ensure optimal utilization of funds
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and reporting standards
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management processes
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial reporting and treasury management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting and treasury management
- Proven leadership experience in a financial role
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting principles and treasury management techniques
- Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and reporting standards
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
