Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. Job Description

  • Be a key participant in financial risk and prudential regulation related-projects with specific focus on capital, liquidity, internal governance and recovery planning
  • Advising clients on ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan, risk management framework, internal governance and related topics
  • Performing assessment related to SREP remediation actions
  • Advising clients on changes in regulatory requirements
  • Developing other prudential regulatory competencies, also across sectors
  • Working with the wider Deloitte European and global financial risk network to identify and deliver leading edge solutions
  • Regulatory reporting: Regulatory Reporting implementation, governance and technical advice (e.g. on key regulations such as CRR and CRD IV).
  • Integrated Risk Management: Advising clients on ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery and Resolution planning and the wider supervisory process (e.g. SREP).
  • Credit Risk Modelling: Providing credit risk model development and validation expertise to clients including IRB and IFRS9.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in the related field
  • Proven experience working in capital and liquidity risk management.
  • Desire to develop other prudential regulatory competencies, including across sectors.
  • Flexible approach to working.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and committed to ongoing development
