Job Description

About the Job 

To support the Assurance Team with the management and execution of a seamless, high-quality services to all clients on delegated engagements.  Focus on the management and delivery of client engagements. 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist our clients in preparing for their audit including:

  • Compiling annual financial statement, including full disclosures and IFRS compliance requirements
  • Assist our clients in performing account reconciliation and reconstruction
  • Performing fixed asset verifications and compile asset register
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting 
  • Analyze existing and draft new policies, procedures, systems descriptions and controls
  • Assist with the set-up of the accounting system, processes, and procedures as well as monthly data capturing and financial accounting; and
  • Assist with other consulting assignments.
     

Qualifications

  • Recently qualified CA/ ACCA will be a distinct advantage,
  • Completed articles,
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience at an accounting firm for the position of a Senior Consultant,
  • Strong accounting background,
  • Attention to details and accuracy,
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team,
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients,
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills,
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities,
  • An energetic and proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for our clients,
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required, Caseware or Pastel would be an added advantage.
