Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAS Developer, on a contract basis, with a strong background in cloud management to support our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAS programming, data management, and analytics, coupled with expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments. This role requires a candidate with a keen analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to contribute to the ongoing success of our data analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Design, implement, and optimise SAS solutions for data analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAS programs.
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot SAS applications deployed in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Implement security measures and adhere to best practices for SAS deployment in cloud architectures.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of data governance and quality initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in SAS technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams regarding SAS and cloud-related inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a SAS Developer with a minimum of 5 years in SAS programming and analytics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing SAS solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong proficiency in SAS programming languages, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.
