Core Business Operations combines capabilities to help clients transform parts of or their entire businesses. Optimizes clients’ operations and helps take advantage of new technologies. Drives innovation, improves financial performance and accelerates speed to market.

What you will do?  

Lead Engagement team in delivery of services to clients.  Build own understanding of our purpose and values and explore opportunities for impact. Demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development, act as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent. Understand expectations and demonstrate personal accountability for  keeping performance on track. Use previous experience and initiative to enhance the approach, methodology and content of client deliverables. Proactive about contributing to ideas aimed at improving client output and project performance. Select and apply tools and techniques independently and with confidence. Develop/enhance relevance of models and analytical slides using Excel and PowerPoint. Be diligent in management of project economics and project issues; structure own area of investigation and respond to changes as projects develop. 

Qualifications

Qualifications & experience required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Development Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Master’s degree in related fields is an advantage.
  • ICA, ACCA, other related chartered or recognized Project Management qualification
  • Management consulting experience
  • Eight+ years working experience in managing bilateral and multilateral aid programmes and grant management is an advantage
  • Experience working with governments and partners for effective grants, risks, portfolio optimization in grant implementation is desirable.
  • Ability to work across a variety of Operations Transformation projects and build knowledge across a number of the Service Offerings 
  • Ability to build core operations consulting skills and analyze client-specific market insights
