Job Description

Key Performance areas
 Strategic & Operational Impact
•    Contributes to input on strategy for Africa Talent based on area of expertise
•    Leads implementation of strategy plans agreed by leadership of Africa Talent including:
o    Designs and implements a learning strategy in alignment with the overall strategic objectives of Africa Talent
o    Development of content for identified change initiatives and drive implementation of these
o    Setting of implementation plans with team/s including timelines, actions and measures for success
o    Defined communication process to team members
o    Timely and detailed reporting on status of implementation to leadership
•    Builds strong professional relationships with internal and external learning providers
•    Builds strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders of Africa Talent
•    Based on expertise and experience, advises and supports Africa Talent leadership in identification and implementation of innovative solutions to issues arising within area of expertise
•    Provides annual budget for learning and development curriculum
•    Manages learning and development costs within the define budget approved by Africa Talent leadership
•    Engage with key users of Africa Talent around learning gaps identified and ensure that Africa Talent learning curriculum addresses such gaps to ensure the quality of Africa Talent delivery
Specialized Competencies
•    Perform skill gap analysis to ensure that learning initiatives address relevant learning needs
•    Design and manage a competency framework to ensure that all roles and capabilities are aligned to a skillset
•    Aligning learning initiatives with the broader Deloitte strategy
•    Leads the scalability of learning strategy and initiatives throughout Africa
•    Acting as the Learning Advisor for Africa Talent - This would entail advising Talent Administration regarding learning solutions for Africa Talent.
•    Works closely with Talent and leaders within Africa Talent  to design learning solutions that address the business’ needs 
•    Assisting Africa Talent with the development or customization of a learning curriculum in order to enhance employees' soft and technical skills as well as business performance. This could involve designing or sourcing programmes that address specific Africa Talent needs.
•    Responsible for delivering world class Learning Solutions
•    Create excitement and momentum around Learning through marketing of all initiatives
•    Programme Management
Other Operational
•    Assist Africa Talent Leadership with the shaping and developing of a broad range of processes across the business, in various support areas including finance, Talent Administration; Talent Acquisition and legal amongst others
•    Project Management

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification
  • 5 years experience
