Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. What impact will you make?

As a member of the devops team you will work together with the application development teams to run our applications on Azure. Everything in Azure is running on its Kubernetes service, so you will be responsible to deploy the application containers on our cluster. As our solutions are used by the biggest companies in the world, security is an important part of your day-to-day job.

How do you do this?

Responsible for running our Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions on the latest infrastructure built in the cloud

• Setting up cloud infrastructure to be secure, reliable and maintainable;
• Setting up CI/CD for the different products/dev teams;
• Work together with a small team of DevOps Engineers and our IT organization;
• Working with the development team to architect cloud solutions;

Be the true you

You’re passionate about technology and especially about cloud infrastructure, networking, security and reliability. You have experience deploying applications into production environments and enjoy helping out development teams. As a DevOps engineer, you

• spend your days in Linux and understand how to make it work for you;
• have worked with Docker and preferably Kubernetes;
• have experience with setting up cloud environments in a secure way (preferably Azure);
• have experience with DevOps tooling like Git, CI/CD (preferably Azure DevOps);
