Job Description
Main Purpose of Job
Lead the planning and execution of Deloitte Africa’s WorldClass program to impact 14 million African lives by 2030.
Key Performance Area
Strategic Impact
- Interrogates, clearly understands, and communicates to team the agreed strategic objectives of both own Service Area and that of the internal client Service Line/s
- Manages the implementation of the strategic imperatives in line with service area strategy relating to:
- Implementation of change initiatives within designated area/s
- Management of the implementation of plan on a day-to-day basis with team
- Monitoring skills level in team relating to required outputs, assisting as necessary
- Clear and regular communication with superior and team on implementation status
- Supports leadership in carrying out EXCO mandate
- Builds professional relationships within the business to understand business needs in area/s of responsibility
- Generates and implements innovative ideas and solutions within area of responsibility in collaboration with team members to enhance / renew service offerings
Budgets / Forecasts
- Provides input into annual budget to superior for drafting of budget for Service Area
- Manages expenditure within team and ensures time and expenses are submitted weekly
- Monitor that completion and submission of the budget
- Prepare Budget and forecast Africa Exco reports with results analysis
Differentiators for this specific role
- Understand priorities of the Deloitte Africa geographies and coordinate sessions to collaborate on WorldClass across the regions.
- Support the development and execution of the Deloitte Africa WorldClass Initiatives and Strategy.
- Identify and drive projects that will support the Africa MF achieving our WorldClass ambitions.
- Project management and reporting experience to track progress in relation to goals and aid in support project management.
- Support the delivery of WorldClass communications campaign both internally and externally.
- Conduct research – both internal and external to identify best practice initiatives for implementation
- Annual societal impact reporting and collation to support various reporting requirements
- Manage and update intranet and website pages
- Drive the WorldClass bold plays.
- Lead initiatives that manage key stakeholders (such as data bases/ scheduling and minuting of meetings) and contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior executives across Deloitte Africa and external organizations
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Business related degree

- 2 Year at Manager level with experience overseeing multi-stakeholder projects
- Managing and developing teams
- Strong project management experience including management of multiple engagements simultaneously
- Experience in a professional services environment
- Monitoring and evaluation of project and impact
- Networking with both external and internal stakeholders
- Strategy development and execution
- Strong communication skills
- Innovative and creative problem solving
Desired Experience & Competencies
- 2 Years at Manager level
- Experience with the NGO/not-for-profit sector
