Job Description

Key role is to support Audit to deliver the strategic Global and Audit Transformation goals. Key component of this role is to work effectively as part of a team and to ensure the successful performance of your team, focusing on accurate and timeous delivery in the audit. Act as a Supervisor of a small team of trainees and to support the Senior Manager to deliver on an audit.

Your duties will be, but not limited to the following:

  • Managing and optimising your team’s workflow and utilisation to ensure the allocations, completion and delivery of audit package work is to a high standard and quality within and appropriate time frame
  • Supporting, advising and monitoring team members in the completion and delivery of a range of audit tasks and undertaking detailed reviews of their work
  • Building relationships with your member firms and acting as the overarching point of contact for engagement teams in relation to the completion and delivery of audit work.
  • Manage and deal with any issues raised by your engagement teams ensuring timely response and working in partnership with them to resolve.
  • Support and implement changes to audit work papers as Deloitte way workflows progress, highlighting any areas for further improvement.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA (SA)
  • Post trainee audit experience of at least one years.

  • Expert in field with excellent industry and business knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting, auditing and regulatory professional standards
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret, communicate and implement strategy
  • Demonstrated execution of complex projects within timeframes and cost

  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Solid financial knowledge
