If you are an experienced technologist in the one of the domains listed below – and you are hungry to extend your existing skills into Cloud, then AWS FastTrack is the opportunity for you. The technology domains relevant to AWS FastTrack includes: Solution Architecture, DevOps Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Networking, Security, SAP Basis and Database Administration.

The programme consists of a variety of facets including:

• Certification. Certification lies at the core of AWS FastTrack, and you will be given the opportunity to obtain 2 – 3 AWS certifications specific to your domain. (2 AWS certifications if you already possess the AWS Cloud Practitioners certification, and 3 if you do not.) • Experience. You will be involved in the build of specific AWS related assets and/or also be involved in the delivery of POC projects. These asset builds and POC’s will give you the opportunity to translate your newly acquired, certification based knowledge, into practical skills.
• Consulting skills. If you do not originate from a Consulting background, then we will provide you with the coaching and mentoring necessary to equip you with the basic skills required to be successful in a Consulting environment.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to one of the specified technology domains.
• At least 5 years’ experience in one of the specified technology domains. (Please ensure that your CV clearly demonstrates the experience and skills relevant to the domain.)

About the Deloitte Africa AWS CO-OP and the AWS FastTrack programme

Deloitte Africa has recently launched the Deloitte Africa AWS CO-OP. The AWS CO-OP is a dedicated organisational construct that has been established to bring the best of Deloitte and AWS together in Africa.

One of the key initiatives that the Deloitte Africa AWS CO-OP has unveiled, is AWS FastTrack. AWS FastTrack is a 12 – 16 week programme aimed at equipping experienced technologists, who DO NOT have an extensive background in Cloud, with the opportunity to build new cloud skills.

Recruitment process

• The spaces available for this edition of AWS FastTrack has been limited to 22.
• Applications will close on the 13th of January 2023.
• We currently conducting interviews with short-listed applicants, and all interviews are planned to be completed by the 27th of January.
• Two AWS FastTrack cohorts are planned. The first cohort will start on the 1st of February 2023 (for those applicants that are already in the interview process), and the second cohort will start on the 1st of March 2023.
• If you are successful in your application, then you will be offered full time employment.
