Job Description

Main Purpose of Job

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Quality and Risk Management team to define, deliver and execute Risk and Compliance initiatives that support Risk Advisory in achieving its strategic objectives, enforce compliance to Risk policies and procedures, develop an advisory relationship within Risk Advisory, Direct and drive management with Risk and Compliance agenda and manage the team, our clients and Risk Advisory Business.

Technical competencies:

·      Expertly skilled in field with sound industry and business knowledge

·      Comprehensive risk management experience with an excellent grasp of operational risk issues 

Behavioural Competencies:

·      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·      Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills

·      Good mentorship and coaching ability with desire to develop self and others

·      Strong client delivery focus

·      Adaptable, managing change and ambiguity with ease

·      Focus on quality and risk

·      Excellent business acumen

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; BCom Risk Management, LLB, or BCom Law or equivalent

Post Graduate Degree is advantageous

Minimum Experience

10 years+ working experience, with deep knowledge of the Risk and Compliance function with an ability to apply knowledge to resolve complex business issues.

Must have at least 7 years management experience

Consulting experience is advantageous
