Job Description

The opportunities

We are looking for ambitious, self-activated, technical, and enthusiastic individuals with mining and technology skills. The candidates must have strong communication skills, deep technical skills, and be analytical/logical thinkers to join our team of entrepreneurial, high-performing management consultants. As a Deloitte team member, you will be exposed to a variety of clients and industries, so you’ll need to be able to learn quickly, adapt to new situations and comfortably immerse yourself in various types of projects. We pride ourselves on delivering impactful advice to our clients, and we need people who will add value to the firm by delivering world-class advisory services to our clients

We are seeking talent at senior consultant level with a minimum experience of at least three (3) years, complemented by relevant technical and behavioural competencies

What to expect

As part of the team, you can look forward to getting involved in:

•         Managing and delivering projects in a high paced environment and produce high quality deliverables within prescribed agreed timelines

•         Contribute towards business development opportunities in multi-disciplinary areas across multiple industries

•         Identifying opportunities for client value creation by demonstrating a working knowledge of market trends and competitor activities

•         Contributing and supporting engagement and delivery leaders in business decision making through objective assimilation and analysis of data and solutioning

•         Building awareness of the firm’s product and service offerings and clearly communicating the firm’s industry eminence   

•         Building and maintaining relationships with clients, with the objective of identifying and pursuing co-creation and shared value opportunities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

•         Technology & Digital Talent

˗   Undergraduate Degrees in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, IT and Electronic Engineering and other related majors

˗   Possess relevant certifications e.g., Cloud certifications, Analytics, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle certifications

•         Mining and Engineering Talent

˗   Undergraduate Degrees in Engineering (Mining, Metallurgy, Minerals, Chemical, or equivalent) and other related majors

˗   The candidate must be able to communicate easily with developers, solve technical challenges and contribute to technical design discussions amongst other things

˗   Consulting and project management experience are an added advantage
