Main Purpose of Job 

Deloitte Namibia currently has an exciting opportunity for two dynamic persons to join our Clients & Industries (C&I) team as a Junior Consultant.  This role supports the C & I Manager to execute  strategies in the areas of business development as related to the Namibian Office and in service delivery to internal & external clients.

Job Description

  • Business development as related to the Namibian Office and strategic client support;
  • Working with industry support programs and ensuring the business is best placed in pursuing opportunities;
  • Assists in preparation of client presentations / proposals as directed;
  • Communicates regularly with management and team members on status of allocated deliverables;
  • Develops productive working relationships with stakeholders;
  • Works with minimal supervision, completes designated tasks for review by line manager, ensuring deadlines are met;
  • Provides line manager and team with detailed reporting on status of deliverables on a regular basis;
  • Assist with implementation of Clients and Industries initiatives; 
  • Assist with the roll out of events / activities and campaigns;
  • Assist with internal Communications co-ordination;
  • Ensure Database Management is updated regularly;
  • Management of various media communication platforms and publications;
  • General administration duties;
  • Liaising with external suppliers to get quotes and to ensure delivery deadlines are met;
  • Gathering information and data through research;
  • Ensure Brand Management compliance;
  • Develop minute taking of strategic sessions and monitoring the outputs actions; 
  • Develop relevant creative (visual) concepts, that meet the requirements of the brand;  
  • Formatting documents in relevant software including tables, graphs and diagrams;
  • Keep an accurate record of all work task and status thereof;
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • One years' work experience or newly graduated if the candiate’s highest qualification is a degree.

Technical Competencies

  • Basic technical knowledge of professional service firms industries;
  • Proficient in MS Office suite – Advance skills in Power Point;
  • Strong knowledge of business acumen
  • Ability to demonstrate design and social media management skills
