Work you’ll do 

Help clients and teams across all industries respond to the rapidly shifting world through…

• Coaching & Training: Serve as the “go-to” expert on Agile methodologies. Hands-on coaching and mentoring of individuals and teams, focused on delivery, product management and/or enterprise transformation; developing and facilitating workshops, courses and micro-learning sessions. Assist the portfolios, programs, and teams apply Agile and Lean thinking to the specific environment and impediments they face. Provide training to the internal coaches, leaders, and team on the Agile mind set, principles, processes, and best practices. Developing managers within Transformation and Delivery Management tribe to become agile coaches
• Client Consulting & Relationship Management: Help the leaders, managers, and teams adapt the Agile methodology to their environment / challenge the existing status quo. Managing day-to-day interactions with and providing agile coaching at the team, portfolio, and/or enterprise level; engaging with, advising and influencing senior leaders and C-suite executives
• Practice Development: Developing practical solutions and advancing agile thinking in the business community; developing “thought-ware” and “point-of-view” documents; participating in the greater agile community through public speaking events, publications, and social media.
• People Development: Performing the role of counsellor and coach to colleagues; providing input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participating in staff recruitment; developing agile coaches and practitioners within Deloitte
• Business Development: Participating in and leading aspects of the proposal development process

Required: 

• 3-5+ years of professional experience coaching at the team, portfolio, and/or enterprise level
• Industry recognized certifications in agile and iterative project methodologies (Lean, Kanban, LeSS, Scrum, etc.),
• A growth mindset, hunger for continuous learning and a passion for applying principles and practices in new and creative ways
• Experience coaching within multiple large-scale delivery projects
• Deep working knowledge of Lean and agile principles and practices with the ability to teach/mentor others
• Proven training, mentoring, professional coaching and facilitation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills: both written and verbal
• Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required
• Working knowledge of agile and Lean frameworks and tools, Value-Stream Mapping, common agile SDLCs, Value Network Mapping, Specification by Example/Cucumber, etc
• Strong problem-solving skills - ability to apply structured thinking in solving problems

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience developing lean portfolio management and/or product operating models
• Professional coaching credentials from one of the following or similar programs:
  • ACC, PCC, or MCC from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) 
  • ICE-AC from ICAgile 
• Experience applying agile values, principles, and practices outside of technology organizations
• Strong presence in the local agile community
• Client facing consulting experience
• SAFe SPC certification
