Job Description

What impact will you make?

As a Manager Cyber Risk Management you are part of the Cyber Strategy team. You are interested in helping our clients to solve complex problems in the area of cyber risk management such as identify key cyber threats and risks, presenting a way forward on cyber risk management to the board or executive level stakeholders or transforming the cyber risk management capabilities at our clients. You have a strong all-round knowledge on cyber risk and are able to bridge the gaps between security and business at the client.

How you will make an Impact

  • Managing multiple cyber risk management or other strategy engagements and work collaboratively with other experts within Deloitte
  • Developing and supporting an cyber risk management program at our clients, such as including the establishment of key processes, governing bodies, and operating models to manage cyber risk
  • Assisting clients to move from traditional security management processes to newer agile ways of dealing with cyber risks
  • Integrating cyber risk management in our client business processes, internal controls, enterprise risk management and other key processes
  • Managing diverse (assessment) teams effectively on client engagements and helping individuals develop their cyber risk management knowledge and careers at Deloitte as a role-model
  • Facilitating workshops at the client (e.g. risk workshop, determine target state of processes to deal with cyber risk)
  • Performing quality control of deliverables to the client, maintaining the outstanding quality of work that is expected from Deloitte
  • Monitoring projects with regards to people, financial and project management, develop new business (assessments) propositions or leverage new technology/innovations with support from other leaders within Cyber Strategy
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with various stakeholders across client organizations, market suppliers and knowledge groups

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Security and Network engineering, Technical Business Administration, Informatica, Business & ICT, Security Management or other related discipline
  • Security related certifications (e.g. CISM, CISA, CISSP etc)

Experience & Skills

You have a passion for cyber and the broader business and digital context. You are technical, analytical, independent, critical and result-oriented.  For the role of Manager Cyber Risk Management, you also have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber / information security management and assessments
  • Know your way around best practices and industry standards related to cyber security (ISO, NIST, CIS etc) 
  • Experience with being a team player with the ability to take charge of your area of expertise and coordinate with other teams and instances
  • The motivation to take a leading role in further building our strategy assessment capabilities
  • An enterprising personality and good communication skills
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English
