Job Description

Main Purpose of Job

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Engagement Manager in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated projects.  Your role will be to focus on the delivery of client engagements, share knowledge and experience with others and understand the objectives for clients and align your own work to objectives.

Technical Competencies

·       Technical expert in regulatory interpretation and policy drafting

·       Demonstrated project management skill

·       Consulting skills

·       Experience in drafting and presenting to clients

·       Good report writing skills

·       Sound financial knowledge and understanding

·       Business acumen

·       Lexis Nexus

·       Admitted attorney

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

4 year legal degree or 2 year post graduate legal degree.

Desired Qualifications

LLB Degree

Minimum Experience

At least 4 years’ POST ARTICLES work experience.

At least 3 years’ consulting experience.

Desired Experience

3 years’ consulting experience which must include at least 1 years’ regulatory interpretation and policy drafting experience.

Regulatory research across African jurisdictions.

Regulatory research in respect of digital and technology implementation projects

Data protection and management experience advantageous
