Job Description

Main Purpose of Job

The Risk Management Associate Director with support the Audit & Assurance Risk Leader (AARL), Risk Management Partners, Senior NPPD network (NPPD) will lead all Africa risk management initiatives relating to the performance of audit & assurance (A&A) services.

The RMAD lead to ensure that the firm's risk quality control system operates effectively to (i) drive professional excellence and strengthen the capability of our people to execute services in accordance with professional standards; (ii) ensure we are serving the right clients with the right partners and professionals to serve those clients; and (iii) protect the interests of the investors and the integrity of the capital markets.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Honours Accounting Degree
Registered CA(SA)
Desired Qualifications
Post graduate qualification in Audit (preferable)


Minimum Experience
7 - 10 years of in-depth technical Risk and audit support experience
Desired Experience
Experience in leading and coordinating the activities of a team of qualified professionals
Experience in building a new team and executing on a new mandate
