Main Purpose of Job:

The overall aim is in delivery of services to clients on delegated engagements / projects, with a strong focus on HR Transformation, Job Evaluations and Surveying.

Key Performance Areas:

As an Assistant Manager in our Human Capital team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll be:

  • Assisting the Human Capital Lead to execute the strategy through seamless delivery across the Value Proposition Chain;
  • Ascertaining client needs, conducting sales presentations and developing proposals and tenders;
  • Conducting project risk and independence checks;
  • Planning and executing projects to deliver a superior client experience;
  • Building a deep understanding of how each client’s business works and keeping up-to-date on industry/sector trends and leading practices;
  • Identifying and solving problems using analysis, experience and judgment;
  • Identifying and transforming opportunities into solutions that drive business value for our clients;
  • Using financial information to evaluate business opportunities and make recommendations;
  • Developing relationships, establish credibility with, and instill confidence in clients;
  • Drawing on cross-geography insights and practitioners to enhance client service delivery; and
  • Contributing to internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture and sharing.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Post-graduate degree in Business, Psychology or HR (Honours/Masters)
  • Minimum of 6+ years HR experience
  • Prior business development experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred:

  • Candidates who have good understanding of Organisational Development
  • Candidates who have forged a successful career in designing and executing people strategy
  • Prior Big 4/consulting experience
