Main Purpose of Job 

We are looking to contract with dynamic, forward-thinking IT/Technology Auditor’s with an exceptionally analytical mind and with proven expertise in auditing IT systems. The main purpose of the IT Audit role in our team will be to examine the IT audit controls, determine exposure to risk and develop remediation strategies on the respective engagements.

In addition, the successful candidate should have outstanding problem-solving skills, be curious and demonstrate the ability to think innovatively.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Postgraduate qualification advantageous
• CA(SA), Certified Internal Auditor and Forensic experience or similar
• CIMA, CIIA or other relevant qualification
• SAP S/4 HANA audit experience is advantageous
• Clear understanding of IT Audit Methodologies

Preferred

• Minimum 5-8 years IT Audit/IT Audit experience in the financial services and insurance industry at a minimum
• 3 years in a client facing role
• Experience in business process and controls
• Integrated Reporting, Performance Auditing, Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR)
• SAP S/4 HANA audit experience

• Good financial knowledge

• Applies professional judgement to control observations and deficiencies, in line with appropriate deficiency evaluation frameworks
• Helps client translate results of assurance engagements reports into prioritized decisions to enhance the alignment between assurance process and overall client’s strategic goals
