About the Division

The South African AMS practice has a well-established capability which has was established in 1999. With 21 years of experience in support, we have a long-standing track record of supporting business critical applications for large multi-national corporations, as well as small to medium-sized enterprises. Our global AMS practice consists of over 15 000 system maintenance and support professionals.  Locally we have over 100 consultants in our AMS practice dedicated to SAP support.

1 X Intermediate Automation Test Analyst - Consultant

Main Purpose of Job

To support Engagement Manager in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.

·       Supports the Engagement Manager in delivery of engagement / project, in specific area of competency

·       Raises issues with manager as identified in area of focus that may affect the quality of delivery or timelines of the engagement 

·       Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and works with management to win the business

·       Assists in development of client presentations / discussion documentation

·       Actively builds business relationships that generate leads

·       Gathers information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seeks opportunities for cross-selling

·       Raises solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client

·       Communicates regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to meet deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience required

Required

·       HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) ASP Certified

·       ISTQB or ISEB Certification

·       HP Quality Center or Application Lifecycle Test Management tool

·       SAP ERP and SAP S4/HANA Testing– SAP SuccessFactors, SAP C2C, SAP PM, SAP FI, SAP HR, SAP MM, SAP MDM

·       Computer Science or Information Technology National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

·       3-5 years working experience

Preferred

·       HP Business Process Testing (BPT).

·       Confluence Tool

·       JIRA for Defects

·       Cloud Platforms

·       Visual Basic, SQL, CNE, UNIX, C/C++, SQL Server

·       Middleware/Integration Platforms

Key Competencies required:

·       Defining and implementing Automation test plan on multiple concurrent projects

·       Strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills

·       Plan, organize and support test case creation

·       Design develops and executes reusable and maintainable Technical and Automated scripts 

·       Coordinate test data creation with the developers and test analysts

·       Conducts/Attends test procedure walk-throughs

·       Follows test-design standards

·       Plan, schedule and prioritise tests to meet development targets

·       Prepare and maintain test environments, including the creation of appropriate test data

·       Maintain and enhance manual and automated test case repository

·       Move manual regression test suite into automated test suites

·       Track and report on software defects

·       Seek to continuously improve software quality, testing tools, testing processes and testing environments

·       Consulting skills

·       Experience in drafting and presenting to clients  

Technical Competencies

·       Full Stack Mobile API GUI, Web and Desktop Application core experience

·       Familiar in Waterfall, V-Model, Agile and understand their frameworks 

·       Experience in Unit and Technical Testing

·       Technical/development background/understanding is required

·       Experience in Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD Queries

·       Maintenance of automation packs

·       Assist with Developer (rest layer) unit testing automation

·       Daily execution and reporting on automated regression packs

·       Good report writing skills

·       Business and User acumen

·       Experience in Middleware/Integration platforms testing
