Main Purpose of Job 
Support the Service Lines with billing of clients on engagements

Support the Project Services Senior Accountants with Project Services (PS) administration services to the business (as per dedicated Service Line) for engagements that are simple or small in nature

    Differentiators for this specific role

    Project Services Administrators will be responsible for assisting the Senior Accountants/ Accountants with the end-to-end management of projects including, but not limited to: 

    • Assists with collating the required information (such as the project plan, billing schedule and resourcing) to open a project code 
    • Assists in the verification of the accuracy and completeness of information required to open project codes
    • Assists with loading any additional information required by SAP in the code opening process 
    • Assists with time recording and expenses claims in relation to the pre-loaded project plan 
    • Assists with billing based on the project plan and instruction from Business
    • Assists with tracking unapproved expenses 
    •  Assists with tracking missing time sheets and unapproved overtime 
    • Assists with the project code closure process
    • Assists with project code closure, with no activity, via a monthly ‘clean-up’
    • Assists with Project Services close over month-end

    Governance: 

    • Communicates and updates the Project Services Specialist on Country/ Regional Project Services movements 
    • Attends Africa-wide: Project Services team meetings and training
    • Complies with standardised processes and controls

    Qualifications & Experience 
    Required 
    Degree or National Diploma in Finance / Accounting
    2 years in finance

    Preferred
    Degree (Finance / Accounting)
    3 years in finance
