Qualifications & Experience required

Required

• B Com Degree with in-depth knowledge in Tax Accounting and a good overview of South African Tax Law

• 3 – 5 years’ working experience

Preferred

• B Com Degree with in-depth knowledge in Tax Accounting and a good overview of South African Tax Law

• 2 years in a client facing role

• Appropriate Project Management qualification and/or experience

• Tax qualification and/or experience would be preferable

• Tax Accounting skills

• Tax experience across Africa

• Tax Data Analytics – Manages client relations to ensure that expectations for dashboards are met, and fulfilled

• Process and Data Flow, Design, Alignment, and Improvement – Applies expertise to design and/or recommend tools and approaches to automate and streamline key processes and tax data from source systems

• Risk Management – Demonstrates strong understanding of risk management processes and leading practices to analyze institutional situations dealing with risk management and identify vulnerabilities

• Compliance & Planning – Designs, proposes, and works with clients to implement planning strategies that are consistent with clients’ strategic goals
