Job Description

We require a web developer with expertise in the full software development lifecycle. The environment is predominantly agile and Microsoft full stack and responsibility extends from client design sessions through coding, testing, implementation and support.  The role will be to assist the existing development team to deliver numerous software solution projects to support the Rewards business within the Human Capital practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Impact - Under guidance, supports the Development team in delivery of leading software solutions to internal clients
  • Delivery / Profitability - Maintains quality of the solutions from the design, development to output and timeous delivery to support the business budgets
  • Production and control - Confidently speak to, and partake in presentations on the subject matter if required to client. 
  • Drive new solutions throughout the whole software development life cycle
  • Build high quality software components / solutions to support projects
  • Constantly research / develop and integrate ground breaking technologies
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in our products and solutions

Qualifications

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a web developer utilising Microsoft tools
  • C#, Javascript, Angular, MS Sequel, HTML and related client and server side tools
  • A completed industry recognised degree / course equivalent.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Works well within a team environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively to convey and clarify information
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of software system architecture and operation
  • Basic understanding of client requirements and product implementation
  • Matric plus relevant certification MCITP, MS SQL DBA or MCSE
