Main Purpose of Job

This is a client-facing role that requires high competence in technical and relationship management. KPIs will include presenting and conducting demos internally and externally, management of client and vendor relationships, and on-site business analysis, implementation and maintenance tasks

Qualifications & Experience required



  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering)

  • 5 years’ experience working as a Technical / Business analyst engaged in development centric business analysis



  • BSc Honours (Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering)

  • 3 years in a client facing role

  • Experience as Scrum Master and Project Management is beneficial

  • Experience working in projects where C#, .net framework, .net core,, html5, SSRS was used is beneficial


    Specialized Technical Capabilities

  • Scrum master

  • Ensure that business and customs requirements are translated to the technical team

  • Responsible for delivery of the technical team

  • Development of and managing progress of technical specifications

  • Prioritize tasks and development activities (including resource allocation)

  • Constant engagement with the developers using scrum project management (e.g., run Stand-Ups)

  • Estimate Story Points, and breaking down tickets into development tasks

  • Manage technical pipeline and backlog (manage sprints and 3-month development pipeline)

  • Manage support, testers, UX design and security considerations

  • Translate/transform business requirements to technical requirements

  • Review sprint tickets (including sample testing of new features)

  • Sign-off on Quality Assurance

  • Responsible for lead time and the progress of development tickets

  • Responsible for user research (upfront), user experience and UI design

  • Advise developers on the direction of current development tasks (daily communications)

  • Work with clients and the development team to design architectural elements of the system (keeping aligned with direction and vision of the product)

  • Research relevant legislation (and consult with experts where required)

  • Keep abreast of changes to relevant legislation and technologies (locally and internationally)

  • Research new technologies and investigate potential new innovations

  • Ensure best practices are followed (drive team to produce alternate concepts and approaches)

  • On-site scoping at clients (including interviews, presentations, data and information gathering and communications)

  • Develop and re-engineer processes and business scenarios (as deliverables and used to configure system logic)

  • Conduct system demos and communicate sales information

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Understanding of information technology and business concepts

  • Experience in the IT domain preferred (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Applications Development, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support)

  • Experience in Business / Systems Analysis preferred

  • Experience in writing SQL queries preferred
