Main Purpose of Job

Deliver an efficient and effective internal Risk Advisory service and Risk Advisory Process advice to Deloitte employees, partners, directors and other stakeholders in an accurate, timely and customer focused manner and assist the other QRM team members on an ad hoc basis to deliver on the QRM objectives.

Specialized Technical Capabilities:

Conflict Checks

  • Assist managers in logging conflict checks on the system and facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholder to ensure quick turn-around on reviews.
  • Timeous escalation of issues identified

DESC Services

  • Provide assistance to managers on DESC by facilitating the logging of service requests

Risk Advisory

  • Responsible for completing all requests loaded on Phoenix allocated to them
  • Follow up on client acceptances/continuance with RIL or approvers
  • Follow up on approvals for high level opportunity assessments or Engagement Acceptances
  • Completion of the high level conflict check
  • Follow up with opportunity managers with regards to outstanding checks for completion
  • Uploading relevant documentation onto the Phoenix system
  • Regular communication with the engagement team to  assist with pipeline management
  • Update statuses of opportunities in a speedily manner
  • Assist engagement team with archiving of documentation

BRMS

  • Provide assistance to managers on BRMS by facilitating the logging of business relationships
  • Logging business relationships checks (BRMS) on behalf of managers/directors

E-Learning, CRM, Joiners and Leavers

  • Assist with monitoring and follow up of required documentation
  • Facilitate timeous completion of e-Learnings in order to drive compliance

Annual Independence Declarations

  • Assist with following up with outstanding information and declarations as part of the annual independence declarations process

Internal Quality Reviews

  • Assist the manager in conducting internal quality reviews within the service line

QRM Training and other administration tasks

  • Assist with the planning and organisation of QRM training sessions

Personal Independence Matters

  • Assist where required on personal and firm independence matters

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree/Commercial/Business/Compliance or Risk qualification

2-4 years experience in compliance or risk management

Solid understanding of risk management and compliance

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Computer literacy- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word.
