Main Purpose of Job
Deloitte East Africa currently has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to join our Clients & Industries (C&I) team as a Consultant. The person will offer support in implementing strategies in the areas of business development as related to OCEO (Office of the CEO) clients and strategic client support; working with industry support programs and ensuring the business is best placed in pursuing opportunities. You will assist with other Client & Industries functions and flagship projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, International Relations or Business related Degree
- Master’s Degree (desired)
- 3 years relevant working experience in marketing or business development environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Mentorship and coaching ability with desire to develop self and others
- Strong client delivery focus
- Adaptable, managing change and ambiguity with ease
- Focus on quality and risk
- Problem solving ability
- Good business acumen

- Provide support and implement strategies in the areas of business development as related to OCEO (Office of CEO) and strategic client support.

- Providing support in steering market research and intelligence for market development and ensuring that the firm maintains high visibility in the market.
Technical Competencies
- Demonstrated capability in interaction at all levels, briefing, analysis and project management skills
- Experience in drafting and delivering presentations
- Good report writing skills
- Sound financial knowledge and understanding
