What you will do?

Supports Engagement Manager in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project.  Focus on the delivery of client engagements and shares knowledge and experience with others. Understands objectives for clients and aligns own work to objectives

 Specialized Technical Capabilities:

Discovery

  • Identify appropriate software, custom scripts, or in-house development to solve specific issues.
  • Liaise with third party vendors to communicate issues and fixes that are required.
  • Evaluate, develop, and test custom scripts to address issues utilized as short term solutions.
  • Identify long term solutions based on the analysis of an issue.
  • Ability to retrieve data within or across multiple environments to identify anomalies or define the scope of an issue.
  • Escalate when challenges are encountered that alter the work plan.
  • Provide clear and concise updates & ad-hoc reports to Project Managers which may be delivered directly to a client.
  • Perform basic database health exercises to support a production database environment
  • Applies Deloitte’s tools and methodologies to respond to a discovery request
  • Converts and organizes large amounts of electronic data into a manageable set for review by key stakeholders
  • Employs analytical tools (e.g., Demo Relativity, Dynamic Review and Brainspace) to inform insight-driven decision-making
  • Assists client with review, redaction, and production of sensitive information in matters of disputes and investigations
  • Executes and maintains data security protocols, including use of government-level data encryption

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a Computer discipline or commensurate work experience

A minimum of 3 years’ experience including scripting with C#, perl, python, batch file creation, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, SQL

 Preferred

SQL and Linux certification

Certification in eDiscovery tools is a plus

Education or experience analyzing business problems, transactional data, or unstructured data.

Engineering experience or advanced application development, application maintenance, and relational database technologies is a plus.

Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus (i.e. Nuix, Relativity, Ipro, Everlaw, Clearwell, and OCR software packages)

Hands on experience with both traditional (boolean and key word search) as well as concept-based search tools and technologies is a plus.

Experience in handling multiple concurrent complex activities within a technical production environment
