Job Description

Supports service / business area leadership in the implementation of strategic plan through the effective management of team/s. Build high performing teams to deliver in client engagements. Translate broader strategic into a compelling team vision and goals.  Applies deep knowledge of disruptive trends and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Technology Related Degree -BCOM, IT, COMP SCI, SAP Certification and related work experience.

Higher Diploma in Technology

Required Experience

7 years’ working experience

Previous consulting experience and/or

SAP Security / Authorisations and/or

Application audits specifically SAP and/or

SAP GRC Implementation. Business Process Controls

7 years+ SAP Security Implementation Experience

Experience in the area of computer risk audits (SAP applications)

Knowledge of tools and audit process methodologies i.e. EMS/CAATS

Implementation experience of SAP Security

  • Identify innovative solutions on projects / engagements to enhance / renew service offerings to client
  • Drive own client portfolio and profitable book of business (depending on SL/BU)
  • Resource engagement teams with  suitable talent, balancing correct levels and numbers and recruiting as necessary
  • Manage margins effectively through accurate budgeting,  pricing and profitability management on engagements
  • Monitor that time and expenses to engagements are recorded and submitted weekly
  • Oversee WIP on projects / engagements and ensure billings are timeously done and collections followed up
  • (May) negotiate pricing for engagements to ensure profitability whilst maintaining client interests
  • Ability to lead technology and business integration by maintaining a holistic view of the client’s IT landscape
  • Maintains an enterprise-level and broad cross-functional perspective on a client’s IT architecture, actively supporting the SAP product portfolio (vs. focusing on one product
  • Articulates tradeoffs and how a required level of technology investment may influence the choice to pursue particular business strategies
  • Anticipates broader implications and engages stakeholders in a timely fashion to gain leadership alignment and understanding on key design decisions
  • Maintains a macro-level, end-to-end view of the solution, and continuously evaluates recommended solutions based on their suitability to the client’s situation
  • Ability to leverage SAP and sector expertise toward initiatives that help build and strengthen Deloitte’s market position
  • Stays current on emerging technologies, market shifts and product updates to inform client recommendations and roadmap activities
  • Drives business development activities including sales pursuits and eminence in the SAP environment
  • Maintains relationships with SAP and identifies additional SAP products/modules that support the client’s strategy to enhance value and support add-on sale
  • Ability to lead the client through end-to-end design, development and delivery to optimize business impact
  • Appropriately measures the level of effort to assign and deploy resources and manages expectations/timelines with clients
  • Helps clients convert innovative ideas into tangible solutions that fit their business objectives
  • Leverages experience and market expertise to proactively identify and anticipate issues/risks and determine mitigation activities
  • incorporated into the end solution and risks/issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Leverages product expertise to deliver core transformative projects and can articulate how a particular SAP solution solves a business problem
  • Plays a key role on the project and has a clear role owning the solution or (in case of very large programs) part of the solution
  • Technical Capability

  • Implementation of SAP Security and consulting with clients to reduce risks with regards to their SAP authorisations. AND/OR
  • Implementation of SAP GRC Modules.
  • The person will also be expected to manage assignments.
  • Candidate will be expected to conduct interviews, run workshops etc.
  • Large scale projects / assignment, the candidate would be expected to play a project management role i.e. have operational people reporting to him/her.
  • Candidate will be expected to drive business development against agreed targets
  • Managers skills and experience to be at SME level
  • Drive New Solutions from inception to implementation
  • Candidate required to play a Team management role i.e. Planning/Budgets /Resourcing & Pipeline
