Main Purpose of Job

Supports Manager in delivery of services to/at client premises on delegated engagement/project.  Focus on the delivery of client engagements and shares knowledge and experience with others. Understands objectives for clients and aligns own work to objectives.

Qualifications

Required

BCom Degree/Risk Management/Sustainability/Disaster Management with 4 years’ work experience 

Preferred

Post graduate degree, an International recognised certification such as MBCI/CBCI and 3 years’ experience in a client-facing role.

Designs Crisis Management Solutions  

  • Ability to create integrated and sustainable crisis management solutions
  • Keeps in mind the end-to-end crisis management process and the macro-components of the crisis management framework to design the single artifacts and deliverables (e.g., policies, plans, procedures, tools)
  • Establishes KPIs and metrics to enable continuous improvement of the crisis management organization

 Designs Crisis Simulations           

  • Ability to plan and design crisis simulations and guide clients to informed actions
  • Helps clients shape and scope crisis simulation sessions through the definition of objectives, success criteria, participants & SMEs, and other stakeholders design authority
  • Keeps in mind the client’s unique business, stakeholders, and geographies when planning the design of crisis simulations
  • Defines simulation flows and overviews that are targeted on client’s needs and priorities, and enables a cost-effective and timely design and delivery
  • Observes, coordinates, and adapts animation in order to give clients an effective and productive experience during simulations
  • Translates post-simulation findings into clear and actionable recommendations for the client

 Designs Client-Centric Crisis Management Assessments   

  • Ability to integrate client's current and future needs when planning and communicating results of crisis assessments
  • Ensures crisis management assessment is aligned with the client’s business needs through an effective planning and customization of assessment tools
  • Is able to anticipate and communicate how effective the client’s response and recovery from a crisis is likely to be, based on a given maturity level
