The Digital Sales and Operations team is the engine behind foodpanda's commercial performance. We design and run the systems, processes, and tools that empower our sales organisation to operate at scale — across markets, verticals, and functions. If it touches how we sell, we're involved.
Get to Know the Role
As the Salesforce Lead, you will own the strategic vision, platform architecture, and global execution of our Salesforce ecosystem. Leading a dedicated team of 7 members, you will bridge the gap between commercial strategy and deep technical execution across our 16 international markets.
You will report to the Regional Director of Digital Sales and own the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce and CRM initiatives across multiple markets. This is a senior team management role — you will lead initiatives, influence decisions, and drive outcomes across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You will own the roadmap for high impact data products that would help us generate competitive intelligence and help drive efficiency in the process of acquiring new vendors.
You will be the connective tissue between business and technology: translating commercial needs into system solutions, keeping projects moving, and earning trust with stakeholders from market operations teams all the way up to regional leadership.
The Salesforce Lead will be responsible for driving the success of digital transformation initiatives leveraging the Salesforce platform across 16 markets in the EU, Turkey, and APAC. This position provides technical leadership, ensures adherence to best practices, and aligns solution design with strategic business goals.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will work with product, commercial and operational teams to tailor Salesforce products and processes to be commercially suitable and have a high impact on our business.
This role comes with a high level of ownership and autonomy to improve existing business processes, identify new optimization opportunities and drive adoption across teams.
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of 7 members across development, administration, architecture, and business analysis.
The person will also manage automation products and tools, implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistency, and lead process design initiatives to drive growth.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the digital sales experience and ensure alignment with business goals. You’ll drive high impact projects and push for adoption across our 16 markets.
The scope will range from planning and executing a long-term Salesforce product strategy to defining short-term priorities for your team on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance through proactive monitoring and support including leading and perform Root Cause Analysis and propose preventive measure to avoid re-occurrence of issues
Able to hands-on in implementing solution frameworks, application & conduct proof-of-concepts on new technologies related or integrating to Salesforce
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience with Salesforce platform architecture, customization, and integration with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects independently.
Hands-on Salesforce experience as a power user, configurator, or administrator, with the ability to translate requirements into system design.
Experience with product development, commercial product operations or similar is a bonus
Strong stakeholder management experience — comfortable engaging and influencing across functions and seniority levels, from market operators to regional leadership
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for CRM or SaaS implementations, working alongside product managers and engineers
Experience facilitating structured requirements workshops with participants across multiple functions
Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and business context to technical teams
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-moving, often ambiguous environment
Fluent in English, written and spoken; familiarity with JIRA or similar tools is a plus
