About the opportunity
We are on the lookout for a Director, User Experience to join our Q-Commerce DMart Product team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
Be part of redefining how customers experience quick commerce. You’ll help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth. By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team, you’ll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products, helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world.
In your role as Director, User Experience (UX) Q-Commerce, you will lead and manage the UX team that creates products that support our Supply Chain, Partner tools & Store Operations Tribes. You will be responsible for making sure the experience users have with our products are best in class. You will also collaborate with various cross-functional peers including product management and engineering, and communicate regularly with various stakeholders. You will also be expected to collaborate and align processes and design direction with other UX leaders within Q-Commerce and globally at Delivery Hero on a regular basis.
Manage, mentor, and empower a team of product designers, providing regular feedback on concept development while inspiring creativity and challenging established thinking to identify industry best practices.
Bring the narrative of user needs to interdisciplinary teams to strengthen user-centricity, communicating design rationale to stakeholders to ensure high business and user impact.
Incorporate data analysis, feedback, and usability testing to validate concepts and experience paradigms, ensuring the quality of implementation meets all design requirements.
Champion the implementation of global design systems and pattern libraries while contributing to outstanding experiences through solid, engaging UX and UI patterns.
Optimize, introduce, and improve processes within an agile mindset to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Collaborate with peers in other design teams and contribute to the global design community to strengthen user experience standards across the organization.
Contribute to the DMart product vision and strategy as a key lever for Q-Commerce and Delivery Hero’s success.

Qualifications
At a minimum BA in UX-related field (Human-computer interaction, Human factors, Communication Design, Product Design) or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, or similar UX-related role, with 5+ years of experience leading teams of senior designers in the creation of B2B and B2C facing experiences.
Demonstrate clear excellence in either UX or UI with solid skills as a foundation in both, backed by a portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design approach, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and extensive experience in designing and shipping for web and mobile applications and services.
Obsessed with understanding the needs of the users of your services, you possess the ability to lead discussions, promote design solutions, and adapt design practices—convincing through narrative and rigor while maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Use operational experience in prioritization and time-management to work effectively within tech teams, leveraging technical experience and mastery of design tools such as Figma as a must.
Experience leveraging AI for productivity and the product development process is a huge bonus as you apply your expertise to create impactful, user-focused digital solutions and services.
