Job Description

Operational Performance Ownership

  • Own key supply metrics across your cities including Utilization rate,  Delivery Time, reassignment rate, fill rate, and courier productivity. Ensure performance is stable, improving, and aligned with business targets.

Supply Efficiency and Cost Optimization

  • Continuously optimize the balance between supply and demand to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary cost. Identify where we are over or underperforming and take action quickly.

Standards and Ways of Working

  • Define, implement, and enforce clear operational standards across cities. Ensure consistency in how operations  are managed, measured, and improved.

Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving

  • Break down performance issues into clear root causes. Go beyond surface level metrics to identify what is really driving inefficiencies, then lead execution of fixes.

Courier Performance and Experience

  • Ensure couriers are productive, engaged, and earning sustainably. Identify behavioral patterns and design interventions that improve both performance and experience.

Execution of High Impact Initiatives

  • Drive initiatives that improve core metrics such as Delivery time, Utilization rate, reassignment rate, and cost per order. Test, iterate, and scale what works.

On the Ground Validation

  • Spend time in the field to validate data, understand real operational constraints, and ensure solutions are practical and effective.

Cross Functional Alignment

  • Work closely with Growth, Commercial, Product, and Support teams to ensure supply strategy is aligned with demand plans and business priorities.

Reporting and Visibility

  • Build clear and structured reporting on supply performance. Highlight risks early and provide actionable insights that drive decisions.

Qualifications

  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear operational actions, not just reports

  • Mastery of SQL and Google Sheets is required. You are comfortable querying large datasets, building structured analyses, and creating tools or trackers that drive decisions, not just dashboards.

  • 3 to 5 years experience in operations, consulting, startups, or business roles in fast paced environments

  • A proven track record of execution. You follow through, deliver results, and can point to real outcomes you’ve driven

  • Strong ownership mindset. You take responsibility for performance in all cities and push through blockers until issues are resolved

  • Comfort working with limited resources, tight timelines, and imperfect information

  • Ability to balance speed with attention to detail. You move fast without losing control of the fundamentals

  • Clear and concise communication, especially when working with remote and cross functional teams

  • Hands on and scrappy approach. You are comfortable getting close to the operation, riders, and local teams

  • High level of autonomy and strong prioritization skills

  • An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude. You understand that supply performance is driven by people as much as systems

  • Willingness to spend time on the ground in cities when needed to validate insights and drive impact
